In my senior year, I developed and organized an upper-level, full credit course as part of the UBC Student Directed Seminar Program. The course, ‘BIOL 490: Neural Circuits Governing Social Behaviour and Memory’ was an examination of the latest research on neural ensembles as the functional units in the brain controlling behaviour and memory.
You can view the course syllabus and content on the course website below.
From 2021-2022, I worked with Professor Steven Barnes to design and develop the new Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience Program at UBC with a number of new courses and topic areas. The BSc. in Neuroscience Program received ministry approval and welcomed its first class of students in 2022.
